Who we are

The Boho House Aruba is a mother-and-daughter concept by Karin and Joy Martens — a bohemian home-decor showroom and interior-styling studio in Oranjestad.

Karin has a natural gift for interior styling, with years of experience from her previous interior company, Het Binnenhuys. She drives the aesthetic — the sourcing, the layering, the staging. Joy brings a background in hospitality, marketing and content creation, and a love of helping short-stay and hospitality spaces feel unforgettable. Together they blend vision, feeling and craftsmanship into spaces with soul.

Our mission

To create that true island feel. Rooted in bohemian living, inspired by the world. By blending calm tones with bold colors and handpicked pieces from Indonesia, India and Morocco, we create interiors with soul — warm, creative and uniquely island.

Beyond beige

Soft white-and-beige neutral bases and natural, handwoven materials — rattan, wicker, jute, wood, terracotta — layered with bold statement pieces in tropical colours. Calm, but never boring.
